The National Orchestra of Kalmykia, which organized the festival, said: the audience will have a bright and rich program with a powerful sound of folk instruments, motifs of the Caucasus Mountains.
The artists of the two orchestras have prepared many creative surprises.
The Ossetian legend deserves special attention - the song "Tsy Susag Canon": it is already 80 years old, and its melody is still recognizable and loved. Recently, she received a new wave of attention thanks to the vocal flash mob, in which our colleague, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Danara Shalkhanova took part - the video gathered many responses and showed how carefully this song is stored in the memory of generations, the organizers said.
The festival was opened in Kalmykia a week ago by the artists of Metelitsa from St. Petersburg.
