In Kalmykia completed the sculpting of the central sculpture of the Park of Buddha Green Tara

One of the key creative stages of the large-scale project “Green Tara Buddha Park” has come to an end in the region. In Lagani, the sculpting of the central element of the future park – the sculpture of Green Tara was completed.

Now the authors have to solve no less complex technical problems. The next step will be bronze casting, followed by surface treatment and patination. The final stage will be the delivery and installation of the finished statue on site.

Sculptor Nikolai Zhukov, working on the image, noted the uniqueness of the project. According to him, this is not a copy of the six-meter statue installed in Elista, but a completely new and independent image created specifically for Lagani.

“It is a great honor for me to once again embody the image of the goddess in the material, to rethink facial features, hand movements, the overall silhouette and new jewelry,” the master shared.

The opportunity to implement this object appeared due to the victory of Lagani in the X All-Russian competition of the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment, which is held within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
