Employees of the traffic police will identify drivers who are not inferior to people at the crossings, and pedestrians crossing the roadway in the wrong places.
For nine months of 2026, 253 accidents were registered in the regional center. Eight people died in the accidents, another 300 were injured.
In autumn, the risk of accidents involving pedestrians increases due to early dusk, rain and wet asphalt.
The traffic police urges drivers and pedestrians to follow the rules and be more careful on the roads.
