In Karachay-Cherkessia before the end of the year will repair the highway “Ust-Dzheguta – Therese”

In the republic, the repair of the Ust-Dzheguta-Therese highway, which is part of the reference network of Russian highways, continues. This year, the remaining 10 km of the route from Eltarkach aul to the village of the Red East are put in order. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life” and with the assistance of the United Russia party.

The readiness of the object for today is 80%. The main work is already over: expanded the roadway, replaced certain sections of the base and laid new asphalt. Now specialists equip sidewalks and apply markings. Ahead is the strengthening of curbs, the arrangement of exits, the installation of road signs and barrier fences. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.

This track is not the first year. Since 2023, more than 35 km of the road have been updated. The highway is important for the transport accessibility of the republic: it connects settlements and municipalities, provides convenient communication for residents and guests of Karachay-Cherkessia, and also leads to tourist sites of the region.

Earlier it was reported that in the Ipatovsky district of Stavropol, three road sections were updated.
