In the Park of Culture and Recreation named after Gorky, 3 social installations are installed, telling about people who find themselves in a difficult situation. Behind each is the real story of a man who survived the trials and was on the verge of survival, Tatar-inform reports.
The sculptures are made of recycled plastic, depict collective images of the wards of the charity project “Human Shelter”. There is an elderly woman with an outstretched hand, a man experiencing loneliness after the death of a loved one, and a man who suddenly lost his family, home, job.
Each sculpture has a unique QR code. Scanning it on a smartphone, you can listen to the story of the hero about his fate, difficulties, hope for a new life.
From the audio stories, it is known what trials the heroes faced, how the support of the project helped them. Behind each silhouette is not just a social problem, but a person with a difficult fate, they will remind that everyone can be in a difficult situation.
The authors hope to draw attention to the problem of indifference, to show how help can save a person. They emphasize that mercy is not in words, but in actions that help people regain their dignity.
The project “Human Shelter” not only provides temporary housing and food, it helps to restore documents, find work and establish social ties.
Stories available through QR codes will tell how people overcome difficult circumstances and get the opportunity to start from scratch.
The sculptures will remain in the park until the end of October.
