Alim Batyrov returned home to Kabardino-Balkaria, the hero of a special military operation. This was reported by the head of the Republic Kazbek Kokov.

In December last year, Alim was one of the first to enter Novodanilovka on the Zaporozhye direction. In the battle he was critically wounded and was cut off from his own, but refused to evacuate, so as not to put his colleagues at risk.

He helped himself in the field - surgeons helped on the radio. For almost 10 months, the seriously wounded fighter remained on the front line and adjusted the strikes of UAV operators. His comrades gave him food, medicine and ammunition with drones.

Supported his messages from family and children. As the front approached Novodanilovka, the fighter covered more than five kilometers to reach his own.

“Alim first went to his parents in the Zolsky district. Thank you to your father and mother for raising such a son! said Kazbek Kokov.

The head of the republic personally met the hero and presented him with the Order “For Services to the Kabardino-Balkar Republic”.
