In Kemi detained a drunken foreigner who violated the regime of stay in Russia

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Kemskoye” during a night patrol identified a foreign citizen who not only drove a car in a state of alcoholic intoxication, but also grossly violated the regime of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The incident occurred when police noticed a car moving at speed. At the stop, it turned out that a 20-year-old foreigner was driving. The pronounced smell of alcohol from the mouth and violation of speech indicated his intoxication.

The driver was removed from driving the vehicle. However, the man refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication and disobeyed the lawful demands of police officers.

Administrative protocols were drawn up in respect of the citizen under several articles of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation, including driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication (part 1 of article 12.26), evading the execution of administrative punishment (part 1 of article 20.25) and disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer (part 1 of article 19.3).

In addition, during the proceedings, it turned out that the period of stay of a foreigner on the territory of the Russian Federation had expired, and he did not extend it in the prescribed manner. These violations fall under Article 1.1. of Article 18.8 (violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay in the Russian Federation) and Part 1 of Article 18.11 (illegal implementation of activities to attract and use foreign workers) of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the court decision, the foreign citizen will be expelled from the Russian Federation. Before the execution of this decision, he was placed in the Temporary Detention Center of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Karelia.
