In Kiev may appear free travel in land transport

Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the head of government to develop a program of free travel in public transport in Kiev. This decision was made against the background of shelling of the city. The Ukrainian leader said this in his address.

Zelensky set the task to prepare specific measures that will ensure the uninterrupted and affordable operation of land urban transport. We are talking about situations when there are failures in the work of the metro or problems with bridges across the Dnieper.

The Prime Minister was instructed to present a program of free travel in land transport. In addition, it should provide a sufficient reserve of buses for Kiev. Thus, the authorities intend to increase the stability of the transport system of the capital.

Earlier in Kiev recorded interruptions with electricity, heat and water. Power facilities were damaged and traffic on the North Bridge was blocked. The official reaction of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the instruction Zelensky has not yet been received.
