In Kineshma held exercises to eliminate the accident at the power substation

In Kineshma on October 8, rescue and emergency services worked out actions in an emergency situation as part of the All-Russian staff training on civil defense. According to the scenario of the exercises, a short circuit caused a fire at the transformer substation, which stopped the supply of electricity to the boiler room of one of the urban neighborhoods.

Firefighters, rescuers, police officers, doctors and specialists of municipal and energy organizations arrived at the scene of the conditional accident. The police organized a cordon off the territory, and firefighters began extinguishing. At the same time, a powerful mobile generator was delivered to the scene.

Power engineers and specialists of the heat supply company switched the boiler room to backup power. This allowed to restore the supply of coolant to apartment buildings, institutions and organizations.

Coordination of services was provided by the operational headquarters under the leadership of the first deputy head of the administration of Kineshma Alexei Volkov.
