Specialists will have to completely dismantle the old wooden structure, which was in unsatisfactory condition.
Instead of the previous design, the builders will install 3 modern water passage pipes, pour a solid concrete base, perform layer-by-layer pouring with sand and rubble, after which they will lay a fresh asphalt concrete coating.
The project of renewal of the crossing is complex.
In addition to the construction of the transition itself, the contractor will carry out a set of works on the arrangement and maintenance of associated artificial structures, as well as the modernization of the storm sewer system.
This will prevent flooding of the surrounding area during seasonal floods and rains.
For locals crossing the river on foot, the builders have already erected a temporary wooden bridge to ensure safe passage.
At the same time, automobile traffic along this section of Factory Street will be completely closed until all construction and installation works are completed and the object is officially commissioned.
