Despite the complaints, the man looked healthy, and the basic tests did not bother the doctors. The diagnosis became clear only after the CT scan. The images revealed metallic elements in the area of the heart, peritoneum, pelvis, bladder and penis.

The greatest threat was a sewing needle 3.5 cm long, located near the heart. The surgeons successfully removed it. The object was in the body for too long, because of which it managed to cover with rust.

The remaining medical items were left in place. In their opinion, the attempt to remove all foreign bodies at one time could provoke serious complications. The patient's condition will continue to be monitored, planning to remove needles in stages.
