In the colony No. 9 of the Ulyanovsk region tried to smuggle prohibited items

An unusual set was found during the inspection of a car entering the territory of penal colony No. 9 in the Ulyanovsk region. Among the seized were a slingshot, perfume, two wireless computer mice, a SIM card and several electronic accessories.

The prohibited items were found by security officers during the inspection of the truck. In total, eight USB cables, two headsets, one SIM card, two wireless computer mice, as well as perfume, alcohol-containing hand spray and a slingshot were seized from the car.

To the recipients, this set did not reach - the discovered things were seized. Now the circumstances of their appearance in the car are established during the inspection.

In respect of the driver, an administrative protocol was drawn up under Article 19.12 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for the transfer or attempt to transfer prohibited items to persons in institutions of the penitentiary system.

For such a violation may face a fine of 25 to 50 thousand rubles with the confiscation of prohibited things. Administrative liability applies in cases where the actions do not contain signs of a criminal offence.
