In Komi, a drunk moped driver tried to escape from traffic police
The incident occurred in Maksakivka, the 35-year-old driver has no rights to control the moped.

The story, which began with a ridiculous violation, ended predictably but revealingly. It's funny that a man who was so desperate to avoid the inspectors ended up in more trouble than he could get for driving without a helmet. His attempt to escape turned a petty offense into an article that threatens not just a fine, but real imprisonment.
Now the 35-year-old offender will have to answer to the full extent of the law. The lack of rights of category "M" and a state of severe intoxication are aggravating circumstances. An indicator of 0.934 mg / l is not just a “little drink”, but a serious degree of intoxication, in which it is deadly to drive any transport. The protocol under Part 3 of Art. 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation implies punishment in the form of administrative arrest for up to 15 days. For the man himself, this is likely to be a painful lesson. Instead of just stopping and getting a helmet ticket, he will now spend time in a special reception and his moped will wait in a special parking lot. This development is a vivid illustration of how one foolish attempt to evade responsibility only makes matters worse.
The DPS officers acted clearly and professionally in this situation. It didn't take them long to persuade the intruder - his own clumsiness and drunken self-confidence did all the work. We can only hope that this case will be sobering for a man not only literally, but also figuratively.
