In Kostomuksha, a geographical indicator was created from the retired skis
The territory of the sports school in the Kostomuksha district was replenished with a creative installation

The territory of the sports school in the Kostomuksha district was replenished with a creative installation. Local master Dmitry Ryshkevich created an original navigation pole, the material for which was an old ski equipment.
The design is decorated with signs that indicate popular destinations: from Moscow and Kazan to Switzerland and Elbrus. Next to each name is a distance to the destination. According to the author’s idea, such an art object should inspire pupils of the school to conquer new sports heights and dreams of future travel.
This is not the first work of Dmitry Ryshkevich: he has previously become famous for creating the Ski Throne at the biathlon complex. The master successfully implements the idea of upsycling, giving a second life to sports equipment that would otherwise go into scrap.
The school administration urges citizens not to throw out old skis, but to bring them to the address: Mira St., 30, to create new art objects.
