In Kostroma on November 7, the transition from snow to wet rain is expected

Next Saturday, November 7, Kostromics will not be able to enjoy this winter. The weather in the region will be overcast and damp.

At night, thermometers will show from -2 to 0 degrees, a light snowball is possible on the roads. However, in the afternoon the temperature scale will rise to zero and above (up to +2 degrees in Kostroma and up to +3 degrees in the region).

Falling snow will begin to melt quickly, turning into wet precipitation and rain, which will provoke ice on roads and sidewalks.

The wind will also increase: the north-west stream will accelerate to 11 meters per second, because of which the temperature will be several degrees lower than the actual one. Residents are advised to choose shoes with non-slip soles and dress in layers.
