In Kostroma intensified the capture of aggressive neglected animals
Specialists of the Kostroma Center for Animal Overexposure shared the results of the work for the current year

Specialists of the Kostroma Center for Animal Overexposure shared the results of the work for the current year. Of the 137 animals captured in the city, 47 have already found loving owners or returned home. This is a high indicator of the effectiveness of the SAHS (catch-sterilization-vaccination-return) program.
However, now the situation is complicated by the onset of the autumn “dog race”. To avoid conflicts, city services ask Kostroma residents to follow simple rules:
The owners are advised not to let the dogs go on self-driving. A pet can become the nucleus of a new aggressive pack.
Citizens are advised not to feed dogs at the entrances and playgrounds. Food attracts animals who begin to protect the area from passers-by.
It is important to remember that if your dog got into the Overexposure Center, it will not be possible to take it for free. The owner will have to pay the costs of the city for catching, examining a veterinarian and mandatory vaccinations.
If you notice an aggressive animal, call the capture service: 45-26-71 (overexposure center) or 42-45-61 (beautification management).
