Dimitrov district court of Kostroma considered a criminal case against a 48-year-old man.

In August 2024, the defendant, being in the entrance of a residential building, used violence against a woman who distributed advertising materials. After a verbal conflict, he pushed the victim down the stairs and inflicted multiple kicks on her. As a result, the woman suffered moderate health damage (knee injury).

Taking into account the identity of the defendant and mitigating circumstances, the court sentenced him to 2 years 2 months of suspended imprisonment with a probation period of 2 years.

In favor of the victim recovered 570 097 rubles (compensation for moral damage and treatment costs). The sentence has not entered into force.
