In Kostroma began the relaying of engineering networks on the street Ivanovskaya

On Ivanovskaya Street in Kostroma, a set of measures to update engineering communications has been completed. Information about this was provided by the Department of housing and communal services.

The work was in two stages. In the spring, the specialists of MUP Kostromagorodvodokanal laid anew 133 meters of water supply networks. Multilayer polyethylene pipes are used, equipped with an additional protective layer. The operational life of such products is at least 50 years. In addition, the company's brigades repaired 24 wells, replacing valves and hydrants in them.

The contractor has now completed the relaying of 500 meters of sewage networks on Ivanovskaya Street. These communications appeared in 1955 and were one of the first in Kostroma, so the existing line decided to reconstruct the whole. Ceramic pipes of previous years gave way to polyethylene analogues. Thanks to modern materials with a long service life, it will be possible to reduce the number of accidents and maintain the throughput of pipes.

At the moment, the external drainage line is functioning normally. In the near future, measures are planned to wash sewer networks.
