On Thursday, October 8, in Kostroma conducted an inspection of the civil defense forces. The review was organized as part of the all-Russian staff training on civil defense issues, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The event was attended by representatives of departments and organizations that can be involved in the elimination of the consequences of accidents and other incidents. Among them are employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Police, ambulance crews, specialists of the gas service, energy and other services.

During the inspection, the staffing of the units, the readiness of the personnel to act in emergency circumstances, as well as the serviceability of equipment and special equipment were assessed.
