In the Kostroma water area of the Volga will be held competitions of underwater hunters-fishers

The Regional Department of Natural Resources and the Regional Society of Fishers and Hunters report that on October 17 near Kostroma in the town of Kozlovy Gory on the territory of the Gubernsky Dvor boarding house, the Volga Hunter festival will be held, which will bring together up to 40 masters of underwater hunting from Kostroma, districts of the region and neighboring regions.

The festival will focus on hunting - fishermen-hunters will use underwater rifles, with which they will shoot as many fish as possible.

At the same time, the participants of the festival will have only insulated wetsuits (water is already autumn...), masks and breathing tubes. And no scuba diving!!!

The winner of the “Volga Hunter” will be the one who will fill and catch more fish in four hours. At the same time, sazanne and amur weighing at least 2 kg, catfish weighing at least 5 kg, as well as perch and pike weighing from 700 grams will be accepted. Winners will be determined in team and personal standings.
