In the Kostroma region prepared a scientific program of more than 60 events

From October 12 to 18, more than 60 educational events will be held in the Kostroma region within the framework of the All-Russian festival “Science 0+”. Participants will be schoolchildren, students and teachers. The main venues of the festival will be the Kostroma State University and the Kostroma Agricultural Academy.

This year’s theme is “Your Cosmic Universe.” The organizers prepared meetings and classes in a variety of areas: from information technology, medicine and ecology to astronomy, astronautics, history, economics, law, physics, chemistry and mathematics.

In Kostroma State University, popular science lectures, excursions, master classes, discussions, quests and interactive games are planned. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the work of the scientific and educational center DRONT, learn about the evolution of life on Earth and the use of artificial intelligence in the financial sphere. Separate classes will be devoted to forensics and archaeology.

Much attention will be paid to professional guidance and the development of research skills. Young participants will be told how to prepare their own scientific project, will acquaint them with current areas of economic and legal research, and will be offered to try themselves as designers and researchers.

The festival “Science 0+” is one of the major educational initiatives of the country and is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology. Its goal is to make scientific knowledge more accessible, to show how research is applied in everyday life, and to help young people decide on their future profession.
