In the Kostroma region told about the rare names of newborns

In August in the Kostroma region registered one child with the names of Alla and Anatoly. In recent years, both names are rare in the region.

According to the registry office, only a few girls receive the name Alla annually - about two or three. Anatolia is called on average about five boys a year.

Experts also told about the origin of these names. There are several versions for the name of Alla. In the Greek tradition, it is associated with the meaning of "other", in the Gothic - with the concept of a master, and the Arabic version associates the name with the goddess Allat.

The name Anatoly is of Greek origin. It is associated with the word “anatole”, which translates as “east” or “eastern”.
