In Krasnoborsk, the couple create furniture for the social contract

In Krasnoborsk, Maria and Ivan Shkulev together create furniture and other wood products. This was reported in social networks by the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky.

A few years ago, Ivan began almost without equipment, mastering the skill on his own. In 2021, he took advantage of the social contract and put the case on the flow, and today the couple are developing a full-fledged carpentry workshop.

A new stage in the development of the family business was another social contract that Maria signed this year. After defending the business plan, the family received 350 thousand rubles and purchased professional machines, a mating saw and an industrial vacuum cleaner. Modern equipment allowed to increase production volumes and expand the range - from beds and kitchen sets to arbors and other author's products.

In the workshop, everyone has their own task: Ivan is engaged in the preparation of materials and the manufacture of parts, Maria - assembly, grinding, impregnation and painting. The products of Krasnobor masters are in demand among local residents and enterprises.

According to the governor, the Shkulevs' story shows how timely support helps turn a passion into a sustainable family affair. Since the beginning of 2026, residents of the Arkhangelsk region have signed more than 2,300 such contracts, including 462 for the development of entrepreneurship. About 461 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the program within the framework of the national project “Family”.
