In the Krasnodar Territory established the Day of the Kuban large family

In the Krasnodar Territory, a new holiday was established - the Day of the Kuban large family. It will be celebrated in the autumn.

Amendments to article 1 of the law "On the establishment of holidays and memorable dates in the Krasnodar Territory" deputies ZSK made at the next plenary session.

Minister of Labor and Social Development of the region Sergey Garkusha said that it will be celebrated on the third Saturday of September. According to him, large families are one of the key factors in the demographic development of the region. He also noted their contribution to strengthening the institution of the family.

Deputies passed the bill as a whole.

Chairman of ZSK Yuri Burlachko, commenting on the decision, said that Kuban is among the three leading regions in the number of large families.

This has become possible due to the historically established traditions, population and systemic support measures. According to him, families in which three or more children are brought up improve the demographic indicators of the region, are its pride, the basis for further development and guardians of traditional values.

Burlachko believes that the annual celebration of the Day of the Kuban Large Family is not only a recognition of the merits of such families, of which there are about 100 thousand in the region, but also an important symbolic step demonstrating respect and support for large families at the state level.
