In Kursk update the lighting on the embankment near the “Duck Island”

In Kursk, work began on the overhaul of outdoor lighting in the recreation area located near Dobrolyubov Square. This area of the promenade is traditionally called “Duck Island”.

According to the mayor’s office, the contractor, subordinated to the housing and communal services committee, began to modernize the network of street lamps. The history of this public space is complicated: the recreation area appeared several years ago thanks to the initiative of a private investor, but over time the facility ceased to be serviced. The situation changed after the city administration took the territory on its balance sheet and began its restoration.

Currently, experts are focused on the lighting system. At the first stage, old floor lamps that required replacement have already been dismantled, and sections for laying a new cable line have been prepared. It is from this line that the lighting of the entire embankment will depend.
