In Kursk almost updated the center of folk art “Rus”

The center of folk art "Rus" will soon appear before the Kuryans in an updated form. Now the work on the overhaul of the facade is being completed here - the readiness of the facility is 94%.

Thanks to the national project “Family”, funds were allocated from the federal budget for updating the facade, replacing the entrance group and installing a ramp for people with limited mobility. In 2025, Rus won the competitive selection of the Ministry of Culture of Russia for the modernization of cultural and leisure facilities.

It is noted that the repair did not stop the usual life of the center: employees continued to hold events, give people vivid emotions and unite the Kuryans around culture. In just nine months of this year, more than 38,000 people visited them.

The plans are to make the updated Rus even more cozy and attractive for visitors. The main task is to preserve it as a place where traditions live, talents are revealed and people who value the culture of their native land meet.
