Football Cup of the Election Commission was held in Kursk

In Kursk, a friendly football tournament was held, timed to coincide with the Single Voting Day. Teams of the election commission, regional media and political parties took to the field.

Among the participants were the chairman of the regional government Alexander Chepik, chairman of the regional security committee Oleg Goryachev and information minister Mikhail Shumakov.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the CPRF team. The silver medalists were representatives of the New People party. The third place went to the team of the Election Commission, the fourth — “United Russia”.
