“Dairy Kitchen” has been successfully operating in Kursk for almost four decades. This institution provides an opportunity to receive free specialized food for children under two years of age belonging to certain privileged categories of citizens, the city administration reported.
- The range of products includes milk, kefir, cottage cheese, biolact, as well as dry adapted mixtures. The portion volume is calculated individually, based on the age needs of the child, the Kursk mayor’s office said.
According to the current rules, children under two years of age from the following categories of families have the right to receive free food:
low-income families;
families of SVO participants (including cases of death of one parent);
families where both parents or the only parent are full-time students;
large families with an average per capita income below 1.5 subsistence minimum in the region;
families in which twins or triplets were born;
families forced to move from border areas;
and also children with disabilities.
There are nine distribution points open daily to receive products.
