In Kursk, on the building of Rostelecom on Radishchev Street, a memorial plaque was solemnly opened in honor of the engineer of the Kursk branch Alexander Nekrasov. To perpetuate the memory of the hero instructed the Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein.
Alexander Anatolyevich belonged to those people who did not pursue exploits, but quietly and without loud words did his job. On August 13, 2024, the engineer went to Rylsk to repair the damaged communication line. He was well aware of the importance of uninterrupted communication in the border, and he understood the danger, but the sense of duty was stronger than fear. That day, Alexander Nekrasov died as a result of the attack of the APU.
The engineer was posthumously presented to the state award. Some time ago, the medal “For bravery” of the II degree was transferred to the son of the hero – the young man accepted it silently and with dignity, which is sometimes not characteristic of even adults. Today, the Nekrasov family was awarded another award - a sign "For loyalty to duty and courage.".
Governor Alexander Khinshtein, commenting on the event, stressed that the signalmen are the same soldiers. He noted that Alexander Nekrasov remained faithful to his cause to the end, and honored his memory.
