In the Kursk region discussed the creation of a full cycle of tire processing

In the Kursk region are actively looking for a solution to the problem of recycling old tires.

At the meeting, which was held by Deputy Governor Sergey Fofanov, the prospects for launching a closed cycle of rubber processing and the production of road structures were discussed. The event was attended by the heads of relevant departments, as well as a delegation from Kazan led by the director of the research and production company “Road Element” Evgeny Gibin.

Statistics show that chickens annually throw away about 5 thousand tons of worn tires. This problem is relevant not only for our region. Now in the region there is an environmental campaign to collect tires from the population. The collected raw materials will be sent to Voronezh, where it will be deeply processed to obtain materials in demand in production.

- Kazan company "Road Element" has already established a serial production of road safety elements from rubber crumb. Such products are easy to operate, easy to repair and, most importantly, effectively extinguish the force of impact in a collision with transport, – said in the House of Soviets.

Following the meeting, the parties decided to work out the technological chain in detail and prepare a financial and economic justification. This is necessary so that the regional authorities can make an informed decision to launch this project.
