In Kuzbass universities, an increase in the number of places financed by the budget was noted, but there is a certain nuance

According to the information provided by the regional authorities in response to the appeal of PROKUZBASS.RU, over the past three years, the volume of budget places in institutions of higher and secondary vocational education in the Kemerovo region has increased. In particular, the number of such places in universities was: 8037 in 2024, 8073 in 2025 and 8146 in 2026.

In addition, the department specified that within the framework of a separate quota intended for enrolling applicants with a special status, 136 people were admitted to budget places in universities of the region in 2024, 303 people in 2025 and 452 people in 2026.
