In Lahdenpohje are looking for the driver who destroyed the city bench

In the evening of October 8, a road accident occurred in Lahdenpohje with damage to municipal property. On Gagarin Street, a motorist who drove a vehicle with a trailer hit a bench, then left the scene of the accident.

The district administration stressed that such incidents deal a direct blow to the budget: the money intended for the development of the city will now have to be used to repair the damaged facility. At the moment, the case is being handled by the police, and officials are asking eyewitnesses who could see the moment of the collision or remember the car number.
