In the Lazarevsky district of Sochi began to improve the public area on Pavlov Lane, 11. Until the end of 2026, it is planned to create a square with an area of about 2 thousand square meters with pedestrian paths and recreation areas.
The Lazarevskoye TOS project became the winner of the regional competition of local initiatives within the framework of the Kuban Initiative Budgeting program. The contractor develops the soil, plans the territory and conducts sanitary pruning of green spaces. In the future, garden and park furniture and small architectural forms will be installed here, plants will be planted and decorative lighting will be equipped, the press service of the Sochi administration told.
The head of the Lazarevsky district of Sochi, Maxim Yermolaev, noted that the project received support at the regional level thanks to the initiative of local residents. According to him, the district administration continues to cooperate with territorial public self-governments to improve public spaces not only in the center of the resort, but also in neighborhoods and remote settlements. “I am sure that the new square will become a favorite holiday destination for residents of all ages,” concluded Yermolaev.
In total, according to the results of the VIII regional competition, four projects from Sochi, aimed at improving the territories in three districts of the resort, won. More than 27.6 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for their implementation.
The authorities asked not to leave food for dogs on the streets in Sochi.
