The Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region considered a bill to increase the cost of a patent for foreigners to 11 thousand rubles in 2027. The Commission recommended its adoption in the first and third readings.
Yulia Kosareva, head of the Committee on labor and employment of the Leningrad region, said that the cost of the patent in rubles will increase to 11 thousand, while now it is 8 thousand. According to her, in previous years, the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg adhered to a common policy in this matter, since both regions form a single labor zone. The size of the patent has always been agreed between regions. The cost of the patent in the St. Petersburg agglomeration has increased significantly, but this is justified, since previously it was lower than in other regions of the North-West. So, in 2026, the Murmansk region set the size of patents in the amount of more than 15 thousand rubles, Vologda – 20 thousand, in Karelia set the amount of 11 595 rubles.
The specialists of the neighboring regions also studied the average salary of patent workers and came to a joint position on the issue of increasing the cost of a patent. The amount of 11 thousand rubles we submit for your consideration as corresponding to the size of personal income tax on the average salary, — quotes Yulia Kosareva the press service of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region.
Earlier, "MK in Leningrad region" wrote that by the centenary of the Leningrad region developed special medals.
