Representatives of the Youth Council under the Lida District Council of Deputies launched a live chain of memory that will unite young people from different cities and regions of the Union State. It's reported by sb.by.

Young and active people of the Lida district are sure that the Great Patriotic War left a deep mark in the history of the Belarusian land, and consider it the duty of the new generation not just to remember, but to pass this memory on in a modern and understandable format.
“Youth Bridge of Memory” is a series of short, dynamic videos about memorable places, memorials and little-known facts about the Great Patriotic War in our regions. This is a young person’s view of our history. Our main goals are to unite the youth councils of different regions of Belarus and Russia in a common cause, to attract peers to study the heroic past, as well as to create a unique media archive and an interactive map of memorable places of the Great Patriotic War.
The youth of Lida opened a marathon of memory, telling about the landmark monuments of Lidchina and offering to pass the baton to colleagues from other regions.
