In Lipetsk, a mother of many children achieved through the prosecutor’s office assistance for a disabled daughter

A four-year-old girl with a serious illness and deformity of the feet should be provided with orthopedic shoes after the intervention of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Right Bank district of Lipetsk. Previously, the family was denied the necessary means of rehabilitation because of income exceeding the established threshold. This was reported in the press service of the supervisory authority.

The test was carried out after the appeal of a mother of many children. It turned out that the daughter needs low-complex orthopedic shoes, but the social protection authority refused to provide it, citing the average per capita income of the family.

The prosecutor appealed to the court with the requirement to oblige the department to provide the child with shoes. The court granted the claim.

Now the prosecutor's office monitors the execution of the judgment.
