In houses 3/1 and 3/3 on Tsiolkovsky Street in Lipetsk, a major roof repair was completed. The 60-year-old buildings have updated the coating and roof cake, equipped the exit, replaced the hatches and doors, installed fences. This was reported in the Fund of capital repairs of the Lipetsk region.
The houses were built in 1964 - over six decades the roof had worn out so much that repairs became inevitable. Now the work is behind us: the tenants received not only protection from leaks, but also updated security elements - new hatches and doors, perimeter fences. For old high-rise buildings, this is a noticeable upgrade: the roof here is one of the most vulnerable elements, and its condition directly affects the comfort of the upper floors.
But the transformation of homes does not end there. In 2027-2028, basements, engineering systems of heat supply, water disposal, electricity, hot and cold water supply will be replaced here. In other words, the building is waiting for a comprehensive renovation – from roofing to communications, which is especially important for buildings of the 1960s.
The Capital Repair Fund reminded that the program is designed to gradually bring houses in order: first the most critical elements, then engineering networks and basements. For residents, this means that replacing the roof is only the first step, and more work is ahead that will affect all key life support systems.
