Deputies of the Lipetsk City Council unanimously approved changes in the structure of the city administration. The issue was considered at the 18th session - the mayor's office made a proposal.

As explained by Vice-Mayor Galina Kukushkina, the decision is connected with the regional law, which stops the transfer to local governments of a number of state powers in the field of guardianship and guardianship. From January 1, 2027, the Department of guardianship, guardianship and protection of children’s rights will cease to be part of the administration of Lipetsk.
