In Lipetsk closed the case of fraud with building materials after the reconciliation of the parties

Zadonsky district court of the Lipetsk region closed a criminal case against a 34-year-old local resident accused of fraud. The basis for this was the reconciliation of the parties and full compensation for damages.

According to the joint press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region, the man deceived two women by inflating the price of construction materials and providing a fake check. As a result, they transferred him 57 thousand rubles, although the actual costs amounted to only 33.6 thousand rubles. The damage amounted to 23.3 thousand rubles.

The victims filed petitions to dismiss the case after the fraudster paid them 55 thousand rubles, which exceeds the amount of damage. The court took into account the confession of guilt and remorse of the defendant, which led to the closure of the case.
