In the Lipetsk region undertook the investigation of theft of 6 thousand rubles

In Usman, a 67-year-old local resident is suspected of stealing money that a bank visitor left at the cash window.

A 63-year-old resident of the Usman district appealed to the police on September 30. He said that during a visit to the bank forgot at the cash register 6 thousand rubles. When the man returned, the money was no longer there.

Police examined CCTV footage and identified the alleged perpetrator. According to preliminary data, the man noticed the money left, but did not look for the owner and took it. The stolen money was seized.

A criminal case was initiated under part 2 of article 158 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation – “Theft”. The maximum penalty under this article is up to five years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
