In Makariev began the struggle with a huge dump

The authorities of Makariev decided to eliminate a large unauthorized landfill, formed on the territory of the former sand quarry. Measures to clean up the territory on Ukolov Street are planned to be completed by the end of October.

Currently, the city administration is searching for a contractor that has the necessary special equipment for collecting and removing a large amount of garbage. After determining the performer, a corresponding contract will be concluded with him, the Makarevsky Herald reports.

Officials urge citizens to comply with sanitary standards and prevent the emergence of new foci of pollution.

The authorities are asked to pay special attention to the disposal of construction waste – they must be thrown away only in specially designated places equipped with containers and bunkers.
