In Makeyevka began working a special parking lot for detained vehicles

In Makeyevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, a specialized parking lot for detained vehicles has begun to work. This was reported in the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to law enforcement officers, the parking activity is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 466-II of the National Assembly of 04.08.2023 “On the procedure for moving vehicles to a specialized parking lot, their storage, payment for the cost of moving and storing, return of vehicles”.

The main grounds for evacuation (according to Art. 27.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation):

Drunk driving: state of intoxication, refusal to examine or alcohol use after an accident / stop by a police officer;

- absence of a driving license, deprivation of the right to drive or absence of documents on the car;

- violation of parking rules: parking in prohibited places (especially under signs with a sign "Tow truck is working") or creating obstacles to traffic;

- technical defects: serious breakage of the braking system or steering;

violation of the rules of transportation of dangerous, heavy or bulky goods.

The police also added that the evacuation and storage of cars is carried out by a specialized service. The address of the parking lot: the city of Makeevka, Gornyatsky district, 5 Khlebozavodskaya Street.

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges drivers to strictly comply with traffic rules to avoid forced evacuation and additional costs for the payment of tow truck services and storage of the car.
