In Makhachkala for a month will test the electric bus

The new electric bus for the first time entered test operation in Makhachkala. During the month it will run on the route of trolleybus No. 5, after which the city authorities will decide whether to buy such transport.

The transport is equipped with climate control, media screens, electronic route indicators, USB ports, video surveillance and autoinformer. For low-mobility passengers, a ramp and a driver call button are provided.

According to Magomed Bulatkhanov, the head of UIA M-Trans, according to the results of the monthly pilot operation, the possibilities of using electric buses in the urban transport network will be evaluated.

At the time of testing, the car will follow the route No. 5 through Magomedtagirov Street, Imam Shamil, Gamidov and Rasul Gamzatov Avenues, as well as Dakhadaev, Korkmasov, Tolstoy, Magomed Hajiyev and Gaidar Hajiyev Streets.
