In Mari El on October 7 will win sirens: will be checked warning systems

The event is organized by the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the region to assess the readiness of equipment for signal transmission in case of emergency situations.

The test will last four minutes – from 10:40 to 10:44. At this time, various means of warning are activated throughout the country: from street loudspeakers and electronic sirens to technical systems at potentially dangerous objects.

There will be a standard message on the air: Attention everyone! The readiness of the public notification system is being checked! Please remain calm.

It's a preventive measure. Residents do not need to take any action, evacuate or call emergency services.
