The Eagle City Hall discussed the readiness for the heating season

In Oryol, preparations for the heating season are being completed. The readiness of utilities, resource supplying organizations and management companies was discussed at a meeting chaired by Deputy Mayor Alexei Stepanov.

According to the press service of the city administration, attention at the meeting was paid to 72 apartment buildings that were previously serviced by the companies "Alternative" and "Smart House". By the decision of the commission, they were transferred to other management organizations, and today their preparation for winter is almost complete.

The resource supplying organizations themselves, including Orelgorteploenergo, GT Energo and RIR Energo, are already fully ready for heat supply. Now management companies must send them official confirmations of the readiness of residential buildings to receive the coolant.

As Galina Antonova, Deputy Head of the Municipal Administration of Housing and Communal Services, explained, the heating season will begin by the decision of the municipality, when the average daily air temperature will hold below +8 degrees for three consecutive days. After signing the document for the full launch of heat in all 1850 apartment buildings of Orel, it will take up to 5 days. At the same time, the process will be phased: first of all, the batteries will warm up in social institutions, and then in the housing stock.
