Investigators of the SU IC of Russia in the Tambov region completed work on the criminal case against a 40-year-old visitor from the suburbs. The man is accused of attempting to bribe an official.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on September 18. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Michurinsky” stopped a passenger car, the driver of which had signs of intoxication. The man refused medical examination. While in a patrol car, he pulled 50 thousand rubles from his pocket and defiantly put them on the dashboard. In this way, he expected to convince the DPS inspector not to draw up an administrative protocol.

The policeman did not take the money and immediately reported the attempted bribery to the duty unit.

During the investigation, sufficient evidence was collected. The criminal case was transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.
