Mikhailovsky completes the recording of children in the museum studio – classes will begin on November 14
In the State Museum-Reserve A

In the State Museum-Reserve of A. S. Pushkin “Mikhailovskoye” the recruitment to the Studio of Aesthetic Development of Children, working at the Museum since 2017, is completed. This was reported by PLN.
The new academic year, 2026/2027, will begin next Saturday, November 14.
The program includes 21 lessons, each of which ends with a creative part. According to tradition, the first meeting is called “I will take you to the museum”: children will visit the exhibition halls of the reserved Scientific and Cultural Center, learn that the book can also be an exhibit, and make bookmarks for books in the technique of “Splinter mosaic”. Further, young students are waiting for the lesson “Secrets of floating paints” with acquaintance with the technique of ebru, the lesson “The magic of papier-mache”, where children will learn to sculpt from paper pulp, as from plasticine, and master the basics of Dymkov painting, and much more.
The project curator often attracts employees of various services and units of the Pushkin Reserve to conduct classes - many of them have basic pedagogical education. Classes are often held directly in the interiors of exhibitions: museum teachers consider it important to acquaint children with the best examples of art - both modern and Pushkin.
The project is implemented in accordance with the traditional spiritual and moral values of the Russian Federation and is aimed at preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the country, supporting Russian culture and traditional family values, supporting motherhood and childhood, as well as patriotic education of the younger generation.
