The Ministry of Education specified the procedure for holding republican competitions among teachers. This is provided by the departmental resolution of August 26, 2026 No. 154 “On the procedure for holding republican competitions among teachers”, reports sb.by with reference to the National Legal Internet Portal.

According to the instructions approved by the legal act, the competitions are aimed at identifying, generalizing and disseminating the experience of the best teachers. The competitions are designed to solve the problems of improving the quality of education, developing creative initiatives of teachers, supporting experimental and innovative activities in the field of education, as well as developing the skills of individual or collective work, identifying talented, creatively working teachers, etc.

The organizer of republican competitions is the Ministry of Education. Information on the holding of events is posted on the official website of the department no later than a month before their start.

A number of resolutions of the Ministry of Education are recognized as invalid, including from December 30, 2004 No. 84 "On approval of the Instruction on the republican competition of pedagogical workers of educational institutions with high achievements in educational work", from October 29, 2007 No. 65 "On approval of the Instruction on the procedure for conducting the republican competition "Modern technologies in special education", etc.

The legal act comes into force after its official publication.
