A patient who was injured in a fall from a scooter died in the intensive care unit of the hospital. The details were told to the correspondent of the "Minsk-news" agency in the department of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations in Minsk.

At night, in the summer of 2026, an accident occurred at the intersection of Masherov Avenue and Storozhevskaya Street. According to eyewitnesses, a drunk man fell from a scooter and hit his head on the tram tracks when he fell, after which he stopped moving.
The arriving ambulance crew managed to restore his heart function. He was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, but died seven days later without regaining consciousness.
— In order to establish the presence of bodily injuries and the exact cause of death, the investigators appointed a forensic medical examination, — said Marina Kudravets, the official representative of the Metropolitan Department of the State Committee for Forensic Examination. — Based on the study, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the laboratory tests, the forensic experts concluded that the man died from a complex of combined blunt body trauma — he had numerous abrasions and bruises on his face and body, a multi-fragmented fracture of the nose, cervical vertebra, hemorrhage and spinal cord damage. The clinical course was complicated by the development of a life-threatening condition — coma, multiple organ failure syndrome (dysfunction of two or more organs) and a number of other complications.
