In Minsk, the notary questioned the authenticity of the certificate – the document was examined by forensic experts

Metropolitan forensic experts confirmed the authenticity of the certificate issued about 10 years ago. Details to the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” told in the Department of the State Committee of forensic examinations in Minsk.

In March 2026, a Minsk woman applied to the notary office of one of the districts of the capital for a certificate of inheritance of suburban real estate. With a package of documents, she submitted a certificate on the availability of property in a horticultural partnership, dated 2016. However, its authenticity caused doubts among the notary, which she reported to the police.

- The certificate was seized, as well as samples of prints of the horticultural partnership, necessary for a comparative study, and was sent to the Pervomaysky (Minsk) inter-district department of the State Committee for Forensic Examinations for the conduct of a forensic technical examination, said Marina Kudravets, the official representative of the capital’s department of the State Forensic Examinations Committee. The expert came to the conclusion that the impression of the round seal on the certificate was applied to the relief cliché of the horticultural partnership, samples of impressions of which were provided for the study.
